About the company

Flightfūd is a wellness brand that sells a variety of consumer packaged goods that help address and alleviate the uncomfortable side-effects of flying, including: fatigue, jet lag, and dehydration. Founded by former flight attendant Kaeli, and travel enthusiasts Sarah and Jamie, Flightfūd’s signature product is an electrolyte drink mix, with plans to launch even more products within the year.

Project Goals

Just as Flightfūd was gaining traction, including endorsements from big name celebrities such as Jillian Harris, the growth of the business was stunted when travel was essentially shut down due to a global pandemic. Not wanting to lose their momentum, the founders took this as their opportunity to rebrand the business, and sourced Early Riser to completely overhaul their existing website. The previously DIY’ed website had a lack of cohesion and consistency for user experience which was impacting their conversions, and ultimately stunting their growth as a company.

We just wanted to send over a HUGE thank you for all of your work on the website and working so hard to get it launched on our timeline. You made this dream website come to life and we can’t express how much we all appreciate you.

Sarah, Founder

The Solution

For the relaunch of the Flightfūd website, Early Riser partnered with award-winning creative agency SmackBang out of Australia. SmackBang rebranded and completely reimagined the website, while Early Riser took their design vision to build out a total of 15 custom pages, numerous product templates (to encompass current and future offerings), and a variety of reusable custom sections. To accommodate and organize a project of larger scale, Early Riser began by building out a design system to ensure consistency across all pages, sections, and elements - identifying patterns and creating efficiencies within the website that would allow the company to scale. The website was built so the Flightfūd team could make changes as the business continued to evolve, including: updating copy and images, swapping out sections to build new landing pages, and the ability to test new campaigns and products.
