Early Riser conducted a website audit in order to bring to light areas of opportunity with the first version of the website. After completing the audit as well as a strategy questionnaire, Early Riser created recommendations for improvement and optimization and, together with Emily, made a divide and conquer strategy to get the best results within the project restraints. Working from the current theme, Early Riser customized the website with the new branding, including colours and typography throughout. 6 primary pages were created (Home, Collections, Product, Blog Gallery, Blog Article, About), with custom tweaks in the code to make it look more unique and stand out from a regular template. Finally, Early Riser made recommendations for SEO best practices and image optimization, so Emily could continue to improve and adjust the website to scale appropriately as the business continues to grow.
